Full course description
This Precollege Portfolio Program is a two-week summer initiative designed to introduce high school students to the creative process in a college environment. Successful students will create accomplished artworks suitable for a portfolio to advance to a college/university art program and will receive one (1) college credit.
Tuition, supplies, and lunch will be provided for all participating students; however, a $100 registration fee is required to secure your spot.

- 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- To start the day promptly, students should arrive by 8:50 AM

Additional Requirement - Letter of Reference
Please submit a letter of reference from someone you have worked with who can attest to your genuine interest. These letters should be sent to art@uml.edu.
Enrollment Instructions

- You’ll be prompted to register for an account. Fill out the name and email of the student attending, and then click Register New Account
- You'll be directed to a secure payment page to complete your payment
- Once you've paid, check the email inbox at the student's email address entered in step 2. You should have two (2) emails in your inbox from notifications@instructure.com (check your spam if you do not see these emails)
- Complete your enrollment using the instructions contained in the email with the subject line: Next Steps: UML Summer Art Portfolio Enrollment
